Pemeliharaan Tuhan | The Lord's Protection

Pembacaan Alkitab: Yosua 13-14

Kita dapat melihat bagaimana Tuhan menjaga Kaleb bin Yefune, orang yang setia kepada-Nya dan yang percaya kepada apa yang difirmankan-Nya. Oleh karena kesetiaannya saat ia pergi mengintai tanah Kanaan pada awalnya, Tuhan memelihara hidup Kaleb selama 45 tahun berjalan di padang gurun dan melalui bermacam-macam peperangan. Walaupun ia berumur setidaknya 80 tahun ketika mereka mulai berperang, Tuhan tetap memberikan kekuatan seperti saat ia masih berumur 40 tahun untuk berperang. Dan semua ini adalah penjagaan Tuhan atas hidupnya karena ia setia dan tetap mengikuti Tuhan walaupun keadaan dan situasi tidak mendukung pada saat itu. Sungguh pemeliharaan Tuhan itu sangat luar biasa terhadap mereka yang setia, taat dan ikuti Tuhan dengan segenap hati mereka.

Oleh sebab itu, marilah kita belajar dari kehidupan Kaleb agar kita tidak digoyahkan oleh keadaan dan situasi sekitar kita. Tetapi biarlah kita tetap setia, taat dan ikuti Tuhan dengan segenap hati kita. Biarlah kita percaya kepada Firman dan perintah Tuhan, dan bahwa Tuhan akan melaksanakan apa yang dijanjikan-Nya bila kita setia melakukannya. Apapun keadaan kita saat ini, mungkin dikerumuni masalah, tantangan, hal-hal yang terlihat mustahil ataupun orang-orang yang mencoba menjatuhkan iman kita, biarlah kita percaya penuh kepada Tuhan bahwa Tuhan yang akan membawa kita kepada terobosan dan kemenangan.

Jadi, percayalah kepada pimpinan dan pemeliharaan-Nya. Berimanlah bahwa apa yang difirmankan-Nya pasti akan terjadi dan apa yang diperintahkan-Nya pasti Ia akan menuntun. Maka dari itu, janganlah kita goyah karen keadaan di sekitar kita, tetapi biarlah kita tetap berdiri teguh, setia, taat dalam ikuti Tuhan dengan segenap hati, sehingga kita dapat berdiri sampai akhirnya, seperti Kaleb, penuh dengan kemenangan dan kesaksian atas pemeliharaan Tuhan.

Bible Reading: Joshua 13-14

We can see how the Lord took care of Caleb the son of Jephunneh, a man who is faithful to Him and believed to what was spoken by Him. Because of His faithfulness when he went to spy on Canaan in the beginning, the Lord protects and took care of Caleb's life for 45 years in the desert and through many wars. Even though he was at least 80 years old when they started to got o war to subdue the land, the Lord gave him the strength as if he was still 40 years old. And all of this is God's protection and care towards his life because he was faithful and followed the Lord even though the situation and condition at that time did not supports it. Truly the protection of the Lord is so great upon those who are faithful, obedient and who follows the Lord whole -heartedly.

Therefore, let us learn from the life of Caleb so that we would not be moved or swayed by our condition and situation around us. But let us stay faithful, obedient and follows the Lord with our whole hearts. Let us believe in the Word and command of the Lord, and that the Lord will do what He has promised if we are faithful to act. Whatever our situation are, maybe we are surrounded by problems, challenges, things that seems impossible or people who tries to discourage our faith, let us believe wholly in the Lord that the Lord will bring us to breakthrough and victory.

So, let us believe in the leadership and protection of the Lord. Have faith that what is spoken by the Lord will happen and what is commanded will be led by Him. Therefore, do not falter because of the situation around us, but let us stand firm, be faithful, obedient in following the Lord with our whole hearts, so that we can stand until the end, like Caleb, full of victories and testimonies of how the Lord protects and took care of him.
