Ketika Tuhan melihat 4 orang yang membantu temannya yang lumpuh diturunkan dari atap, dikatakan bahwa Tuhan Yesus melihat iman mereka. Dari kejadian ini kita dapat belajar beberapa hal yang dapat kita aplikasikan dalam kehidupan kita. Awalnya ke-4 orang ini mencoba masuk melalui pintu depan, tetapi karena khalayak ramai maka mereka tidak dapat masuk. Tetapi mereka tidakmenyerah begitu saja, mereka mencari akal dan mereka menemukannya melalui atap. Tidaklah mudah untuk mengangkat seorang ytang lumpuh ke atas atap rumah. Terlebih lagi, untuk menurunkannya melalui atap mereke membutuhkan tali atau suatu alat dan jika mereka dapat menurunkan orang lumpuh itu, maka terbukti bahwa mereka sudah siap sedia sejak awal. Dan tentunya mereka juga beriman bahwa Yesus dapat menyembuhkan orang lumpuh ini. Dalam perjalanan hidup kita mencari Yesus dan untuk mengenal DIa, tidaklah mudah, tetapi ada beberapa hal yang dapat kita pelajari dari ke-4 orang ini.

Kita tahu bahwa mereka telah siap sedia dari awalnya jika memang harus melalui atap. Mereka pasti tahu bahwa akan banyak orang yang mencari Yesus, sehingga pasti tidak mudah untuk masuk melalui pintu depan, oleh sebab itu mereka sudah siap sedia. Begitu juga dengan kita, kita perlu siap sedia dalam hati, pikiran dan juga kekuatan kita untuk mencari Tuhan. Kita tahu bahwa di tengah-tengah kesibukan kita tidaklah mudah untuk mencari Tuhan, tetapi kita perlu untuk mempersiapkan waktu untuk mencari Tuhan. Jika kita tidak mempersiapkan waktu, maka ktia tidak akan ada waktu untuk cari Tuhan, kita akan terhalangi oleh kesibukan kita seperti ke-4 orang ini terhalangi oleh khalayak ramai. Lalu kita juga perlu untuk pantang menyerah, terus giat sampai kita mendapatkan jawaban di dalam doa maupun persekutuan kita setiap hari dengan Tuhan. Dan tentunya kita perlu iman untuk dapat melihat Tuhan dan melihat pekejaan tangan-Nya.

Maka dari itu, marilah kita lakukan hal-hal ini agar kita dapat mengalami Tuhan lebih lagi di dalam kehidupan kita. Mari kita siapkan waktu untuk mencari Tuhan, pantang menyerah dan beriman teguh di dalam Tuhan.

When the Lord saw 4 people who helped their friend who's lame, to be lowered down from the roof, it is said that the Lord Jesus saw their faith. From this we can learn a few things which we can apply to our lives. In the beginning these 4 people tried to come in through the front door, but because of the crowd they can't. But they did not give up just like that, they looked for another way in and they found it through the rooftop. It is not easy to lift up a lame person to the rooftp. Moreover, to lower him down from the rooftop they would need a means such as ropes, therefore it is proven that they are ready from the start. And of course they also have the faith that Jesus will be able to heal the lame person. In our lives in seeking Jesus and to know Him, it is not easy, but there are a few things that we can learn from these 4 people.

We know that they have readied themselves from the start if they have to go from the rooftop. They must know that there will be a crowd following Jesus, that it would not be easy for them to come from the front door, that's why they were ready. So it is with us, we have to be ready in heart, mind and strength to seek the Lord. We know that in the midst of our busyness, it is not easy to seek the Lord, but we need to prepare a time beforehand to seek the Lord. If we do not prepare any time beforehand, then we would not have the time to seek the Lord and we will be hindered by the busyness of our daily lives just like the 4 people who are hindred by the crowd. Then we also need to have the character of not giving up, but keep on seeking until we receive answers in our prayers and our daily relationship with the Lord. And of course we also need to have faith to be able to see the Lord and to see the work of His hands.

Therefore, let us do these things so that we can experience God even more in our lives. Let us prepare a time to seek the Lord, not giving up and having firm faith in the Lord.
