Berbagi Tanggung Jawab | Sharing the Responsibility

Pembacaan Alkitab: Bilangan 10-11

Pada awalnya Tuhan memilih Musa untuk menjadi pemimpin bangsa Israel dan untuk bertanggung jawab sebagai perantara antara Tuhan dan umat-Nya. Tetapi setelah sekian lama maka Musa merasa tanggung jawab ini tidak daapt ditanggung sendiri. Oleh sebab itu Tuhan meminta Musa untuk mengumpullkan para tua-tua untuk membantu Musa menangani umat Israel dan Tuhan menaruh Roh-Nya atas mereka sehingga mereka kepenuhan Roh Tuhan.

Sebuah pekerjaan yang besar seperti Musa, tidak dapat di tanggung sendiri dan untuk itulah Tuhan mengirimkan orang-orang untuk berbagi beban dan tanggung jawab untuk tujuan yang sama. Begitu juga dengan gereja, organisasi dan segala bisnis. Semua ini tidak dapat dilakukan sendirian, tetapi perlu di tanggung oleh beberapa orang. Tentunya bukan hanya jumlah orang yang diperlukan, tetapi mereka juga perlu untuk memiliki tujuan yang sama, bila tidak maka tidak akan dapat berjalan dengan baik. Dan yang terpenting adalah untuk Tuhan sendiri yang memimpin dan bukan manusia. Oleh sebab itu Tuhan menaruh Roh-Nya kepada para tua-tua Israel.

Jadi, biarlah kita yang ada di dalam gereja, atau organisasi atau bisnis, mengambil bagian dan tanggung jawab kita untuk meringankan beban pemimpin kita dan bila kita adalah pemimpin, biarlah kita meminta pimpinan Tuhan dalam memilih orang-orang yang dipilih Tuhan untuk bersama-sama menanggung tanggung jawab yang Tuhan berikan. Dan biarlah kita hidup selalu penuh dengan Roh Allah yang memimpin dan memenuhi kita, sebab bila dari Tuhan, maka kita perlu Tuhan yang pimpin dan jadi Raja.

Bible Reading: Numbers 10-11

At the start, the Lord chose Moses to be the leader of the Israelites and to be responsible as the mediator between the Lord and His people. But after some time, Moses felt that the responsibility was too great to bear alone. That's why the Lord asked Moses to gather the elders to help Moses take care of Israelites and the Lord put His Spirit upon then that they are filled with the Spirit of the Lord.

A big job like Moses's, cannot be handle alone and that is why the Lord sends people to share the load with for the same goal. The same goes with churches, organisations, and all businesses. All of this cannot be done alone but need to be bore by a few people. Of course the amount of the people is not the only thing we need, but they also need to have the same purpose, if not then they would not be able to do it. And the most important is for the Lord Himself to lead and not men. That's why the Lord placed His Spirit upon the elders of the Israelites.

Therefore, let us who are in church, organisations or business, take our part and responsibility to lighten the load of our leader and if we are the leaders, let us ask the Lord to lead us to choose His chosen people to share the responsibility the Lord gave, together. And let us be filled with the Holy Spirit who leads and fills us, because if it is from the Lord, then we need the Lord to lead and become King.
