Pembacaan Alkitab: Yohanes 20
Setelah Yesus bangkit dari kubur, Ia menunjukkan diri kepada para murid-murid-Nya, tetapi Tomas pada saat itu tidak ada di sana dan ketika para murid yang lainnya cerita kepadanya akan Yesus, Tomas tidak percaya kecuali bila ia melihat Yesus dengan mata kepalanya sendiri. Di dunia ini, ada orang yang percaya sebelum melihat tetapi ada juga yang hanya akan percaya bila mereka melihat dahulu. Tetapi Yesus berkata bahwa berbahagialah mereka yang tidak melihat namun percaya. Inilah iman, yakni untuk percaya akan hal-hal yang belum kita lihat. Dan oleh imanlah kita percaya kepada Yesus dan menerima keselamatan Tuhan Yesus Kristus.
Tetapi janganlah kita berhenti hanya dengan menerima saja. Tetapi seperti Yohanes yang menulis kitab ini, ia menulis agar kita percaya kepada Yesus yang adalah Mesias, sehingga kita memperoleh keselamatan karena iman. Marilah kita juga pakai kehidupan kita, kesaksian kita, pengalaman kita bersama Yesus dan juga Firman Tuhan untuk diberitakan kepada orang-orang lain sehingga merekapun dapat percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus, sebab walaupun mereka belum melihat Yesus, mereka dapat melihat kehidupan kita yang berubah karena Yesus. Oleh sebab itu, marilah kita terus hidup oleh iman dan belajar seperti Yohanes yang memakai kehidupannya untuk membuat orang dapat percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus dengan iman dan memperoleh keselamatan Tuhan Yesus Kristus.

Bible Reading: John 20
After Jesus rose from the dead, He showed Himself to His disciples, but Thomas was not there at that time and when the other disciples told him, he would not believe unless he has seen Jesus himself. In this world, there are people who believes without seeing and there are those who will only believe once they have seen it. But Jesus said that blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed. This is faith, that is to believe in the things we have not yet seen. And by faith we have believed in Jesus and received the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.
But let us do not stop at just believing. But as John who wrote this book, he wrote this book so that we would believe in Jesus who is the Messiah, so that we may receive salvation because of faith. Let us also use our lives, our testimonies, our experience with Jesus and the Word of God to share to others so that they may also believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, because even though they have not seen Jesus, they can see our lives which have been changed because of Jesus. Therefore, let us continue to live in faith and learn to be like John who used his life to bring others to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ by faith and receives the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Dan oleh imanlah kita percaya kepada Yesus dan menerima keselamatan Tuhan Yesus Kristus.
Tetapi janganlah kita berhenti hanya dengan menerima saja. Tetapi seperti Yohanes yang menulis kitab ini, ia menulis agar kita percaya kepada Yesus yang adalah Mesias, sehingga kita memperoleh keselamatan karena iman. Marilah kita juga pakai kehidupan kita, kesaksian kita, pengalaman kita bersama Yesus dan juga Firman Tuhan untuk diberitakan kepada orang-orang lain sehingga merekapun dapat percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus, sebab walaupun mereka belum melihat Yesus, mereka dapat melihat kehidupan kita yang berubah karena Yesus. Oleh sebab itu, marilah kita terus hidup oleh iman dan belajar seperti Yohanes yang memakai kehidupannya untuk membuat orang dapat percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus dengan iman dan memperoleh keselamatan Tuhan Yesus Kristus.
