Bila kita melihat kepada sejarah Israel, ada beberapa kali di mana kita melihat bahwa bangsa Israel membangkitkan amarah Tuhan karena mereka berdosa di hadapan Tuhan. Tetapi kita tahu dari sejarah dan mazmur ini bahwa Tuhan tetap menyayangi umat-Nya, mengampuni dan dan menutupi segala dosa mereka. Tuhan juga tetap ingin memulihkan umat-Nya. Hanya saja, kita, sebagai umat-Nya, perlu untuk benar-benar bertobat dan mencari Tuhan dengan hati yang sungguh-sungguh. Kita perlu untuk ingin mendengarkan apa yang Tuhan firmankan, sebab Tuhan berfirman akan hal-hal yang baik, akan damai sehingga kita tidak kembali lagi kepada dosa. Jadi, jika kita ingin melihat pemulihan dari pada Tuhan, harus dimulai dari hati yang sungguh-sungguh bertobat dan ketaatan untuk mendengarkan Firman Tuhan. Sebab Tuhan telah siap untuk memulihkan dan memberkati, hanya saja, kita juga perlu untuk siap menerimanya. Jadi, persiapkanlah hati dan hidup kita untuk Tuhan datang, pulihkan dan pimpin.

Bible Reading: Psalm 85
If we see the history of Israel, there are times where we see that Israel enraged the Lord because they sinned before the Lord. But we know from the history and from this psalm that the Lord still loves His people, forgives them and covered all their sins. The Lord also still wants to restore His people. It's only that we, as His people, need to really repent and seek the Lord with an earnest heart. We need to want to listen to what He wants to say, for the Lord speaks of the good things and of peace so that we won't go back to sins again. So if we want to see restoration from the Lord, it has to start from an earnest heart that really repents and obedient to listen to the Word of God. For the Lord is ready to restore and to bless, but we also need to be ready to receive it. So, prepare our hearts and lives for the Lord to come, restore and lead.
