Pembacaan Alkitab: Yosua 19-20
Kita dapat melihat bahwa Yosua mengikuti apa kata Tuhan dalam apa yang harus dilakukan setelah mereka masuk ke dalam tanah Kanaan. Mereka berperang, menduduki kota, membagi-bagikannya, dan memilih beberapa kota sebagai kota perlindungan. Dikatakan di sini bahwa Tuhan berfirman kepada Yosua agar mereka memilih kota-kota perlindungan itu. Dari sini kita lihat bahwa Tuhan bukanlah Allah yang jauh, yang hanya memberi peirntah dan kemudian meninggalkan kita begitu saja. Tetapi Ia terus berada di sisi kita, mengingatkan kita, membimbing dan memimpin kita. Itulah Allah kita, Tuhan Yesus Kristus, Allah yang memimpin setiap langkah kita, bila kita mengikuti Firman-Nya, hidup taat kepada-Nya dan bersandar kepada-Nya seperti hamba-hamba-Nya di Alkitab. Betapa beruntungnya kita memiliki Tuhan yang mau memimpin setiap langkah kita! Maka dari itu, biarlah kita belajar untuk hidup taat dan setia seperti Yosua, Musa dan sebagainya. Terpujilah Tuhan Allah yang hidup!

Bible Reading: Joshua 19-20
We can see that Joshua followed that the Lord said in doing what needs to be done after they enter the land of Canaan. They fought the battle, overcame the cities, share it around and chose some cities to be a city of refuge. It is said here that the Lord spoke to Joshua to choose the cities for refuge. We can see here that the Lord is not a God who is far, who only gives command and left us alone. But He is always by our side, reminding us, guiding and leading us. That is our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, the God who leads our every step, if we follow His Words, live in obedience and rely on Him just like His servants did in the Bible. How fortunate for us to have a Lord who wants to lead our every step! Therefore, let us learn to live in obedience and faithfulness just like Joshua, Moses and others. Blessed be the Lord, the living God!
