Pembacaan Alkitab: Yesaya 11-13
Sekali lagi Tuhan bernubuat tentang Yesus melalui Yesaya, tetapi nubuatan itu tidak hanya untuk kelahiran-Nya saja. Nubuatan yang terkandung di pasal 11 berisikan tentang karakter Yesus dan hal-hal yang akan datang. Mari kita fokus sekarang kepada karakter Yesus yang diuraikan di sini, karakter yang patut kita ikuti dan juga untuk membimbing kita di jalan-Nya. Salah satu yang dapat kita pelajari adalah bahwa Yesus sendiripun memiliki dan suka akan takut akan Tuhan. Lebih lagi, Tuhan tidak menghakimi berdasarkan apa yang Ia lihat atau dengar, tetapi berdasarkan kebenaran dan keadilan. Oleh sebab itu, biarlah setiap dari perilaku dan aksi kita berdasarkan oleh kebenaran Tuhan dan keadilan-Nya. Juga, janganlah kita menghakimi orang lain, sebab itu bagian Tuhan dan bukan bagian kita. Jadi melalui karakter Yesus ini, kita dapat belajar bagaimana kita hidup di dunia ini, yakni dengan suka akan rasa takut akan Tuhan dan di dalam kebenaran Tuhan dan keadilan-Nya.

Bible Reading: Isaiah 11-13
Once more the Lord prophesied about Jesus through Isaiah, but this prophecy was not only about His birth. The prophecy that is in chapter 11 talks about the character of Jesus and the things yet to come. Let us focus now on the character of Jesus which are mentioned here, character that we should follow and also to guide us to His path. One of the character we can learn is that Jesus Himself has and delights in the fear of the Lord. Moreover, the Lord do not judge by what He sees or hears, but He judges in righteousness and justice. Therefore, let every action and behaviour of ours be based upon righteousness of the Lord and His justice. Also, do not judge others as that is the Lord's part and not ours. So, through the character of Jesus, we can learn how we can live in this world, that is by delighting in the fear of the Lord and living in righteousness of the Lord and His justice.
