Pembacaan Alkitab: Matius 15
Pelayanan Yesus banyak berfokus kepada orang-orang yang membutuhkan, orang-orang yang ditolak oleh orang Farisi, orang-orang yang putus harapan, orang-orang yang sakit dan tidak bisa sembuh, orang-orang janda, miskin, dan mereka yang ditolak oleh masyarakat. Sayangnya sampapi sekarang, orang-orang seperti ini masih banyak yang terlantar dan masih banyak yang memerlukan kasih Tuhan. Dan inilah bagian kita sebagai orang-orang percaya, yakni untuk melayani mereka yang hilang, mereka yang tertolak, sakit, membutuhkan dan sebagainya, seperti Yesus. Bila kita buka mata kita dan melihat sekitar kita, kita dapat melihat bahwa Tuhan menaruh orang-orang yang dapat kita layani. Oleh karena itu, janganlah lagi kita hanya fokus kepada diri kita sendiri, kepada kesuksesan yang ingin kita raih sehingga kita lupa dan tidak perduli akan orang-orang yang membutuhkan kasih dan penebusan Tuhan. Biarlah kita mulai melihat dan melayani orang-orang di sekitar kita yang membutuhkan Yesus.

Bible Reading: Matthew 15
The ministry of Jesus is quite focused on the people who are in need, people who are rejected by the Pharisees, people who have lost hope, who are sick and cannot be healed, widows, poor, and those who are rejected by the community. Unfortunately until now, there are still a lot of these people are still left alone and need the love of God. And this is our part as believers, to serve those who are lost, those who are rejected, sick, in need and many more, just like Jesus did. If we open our eyes and see our surroundings, we can see that the Lord has placed people around us whom we can serve. Therefore, do no only focus on ourselves, on what kind of success we are trying to reach that we forget and do not care of the people who needs the love and redemption of the Lord. Let us start to see and minister to the people around who needs Jesus.
