Pembacaan Alkitab: Yehezkiel 45-46
Bila kita lihat akan korban-korban yang raja dan Israel perlu persembahkan kepada Tuhan, sungguh sangatlah banyak korban-korban itu. Dan tidaklah murah untuk dapat memberikan korban-korban yang Tuhan perintahkan, tetapi justru karena Tuhan yang meminta, Ia juga yang akan memenuhi keperluan umat-Nya dan tidak akan membiarkan umat-Nya bangkrut hanya karena persembahan-persembahan yang diberikan mereka. Dari sini kita dapat melihat betapa luar biasanya diberkati umat Tuhan itu. Bila kita memliki Tuhan yang mencukupi kebutuhan kita dan yang meminta daripada kita bukan untuk menghabiskan apa yang kita punya, tetapi akan mencukupi kita, apalagi yang perlu kita khawatirkan? Bila kita hidup sesuai dengan Firman-Nya, taat kepada Firman-Nya, hidup bekerja keras dan dengan iman, maka Tuhan yang setia dan adil tidak akan meninggalkan dan membiarkan umat-Nya kelaparan atau kekurangan. Kita tentunya akan berkecukupan dan bila Tuhan ijinkan lebih dari cukup. Tetapi seirngkali cara hidup kita yang berfoya-foya yang membuat sepertinya kita tidak cukup, padahal Tuhan telah mencukupi kita. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita mulai hidup leibh bersandar kepada Tuhan karena Ia selalu mencukupi kita dan juga biarlah kita tidak berfoya-foya sehingga kita merasa kita tidak cukup dan akhirnya selalu mengejar uang dan bukannya mengejar Tuhan.

Bible Reading: Ezekiel 45-46
If we look at the sacrifices that the king and Israel need to offer to the Lord, truly there are a lot of them. And it is not cheap to be able to give all those offerings that the Lord commanded, but because the Lord asks, He will also provides the needs of His people and will not let His people go bankrupt because of all the offerings they need to give. From here we can see how amazingly blessed His people are. If we have a God who fulfills our needs and who asks from us not so that we would run out, but will provide for our needs, what else is there that we need to worry about? If we live according to the Word of God, obedient to the Word of God, work hard and live in faith, then the Lord who is faithful and just will not leave us nor let us go hungry or lacking. We will of course be sufficient and if the Lord allows, more than sufficient. But many times our lifestyle that likes to waste money that makes us seem not to have enough, while the Lord actually has given us enough. Therefore, let us start living by relying on the Lord because He always provides for us and also let us not waste our resources such that we feel that we do not have enough that we end up chasing after money and not God.

Bila kita hidup sesuai dengan Firman-Nya, taat kepada Firman-Nya, hidup bekerja keras dan dengan iman, maka Tuhan yang setia dan adil tidak akan meninggalkan dan membiarkan umat-Nya kelaparan atau kekurangan. Kita tentunya akan berkecukupan dan bila Tuhan ijinkan lebih dari cukup. Tetapi seirngkali cara hidup kita yang berfoya-foya yang membuat sepertinya kita tidak cukup, padahal Tuhan telah mencukupi kita. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita mulai hidup leibh bersandar kepada Tuhan karena Ia selalu mencukupi kita dan juga biarlah kita tidak berfoya-foya sehingga kita merasa kita tidak cukup dan akhirnya selalu mengejar uang dan bukannya mengejar Tuhan.
