Tuhan menghendaki agar kita semua hidup kudus. Sudah dari sejak pertama Tuhan memanggil Israel, Tuhan memberikan perintah ini, yakni untuk hidup kudus, sebab Tuhan Allah kita adalah kudus. Terutama di tengah-tengah dunia yang penuh dengan percabulan dan hal-hal yang tidak bermoral. Kita diingatkan bahwa kita perlu untuk hidup kudus dan tidak mengikuti arus dunia yang penuh dengan percabulan. Tuhan ingin agar kita tidak kompromi dengan kekudusan kita yang adalah juga Firman Tuhan, dan juga agar kita menjadi contoh bagi orang-orang, terutama anak-anak muda dan generasi-generasi di bawah kita. Sebab dengan kita menolak untuk hidup kudus, kita juga menolak Tuhan yang telah memberikan Roh-Nya yang kudus kepada kita. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita taati Firman Tuhan untuk hidup kudus dan untuk lebih bersungguh-sungguh lagi dan menjadi teladan dengan tidak kompromi.

The Lord wants us all to live a holy life. From the beginning when the Lord called Israel, the Lord gave this command, that is to live holy as the Lord our God is holy. Especially in the midst of this world where it is full of adultery and sexual immorality. We are reminded to live a holy life and not to follow the stream of the world that is full of sexual immorality. The Lord wants us to not compromise with our holiness, which is also the Word of God, and also for us to become an example and role model for others, especially the youth, young adults and the generations after us. For if we reject holiness, we are also rejecting the Lord who has sent His Spirit who is holy. Therefore, let us obey the Word of God to live a holy life and to be more diligent in it and become a role model by not compromising.
