Pembacaan Alkitab: Imamat 16
Tuhan memerintahkan agar Harun mempesembahkan korban bakaran bagi dirinya sendiri dan keluarganya lebih dahulu sebelum untuk seluruh umat Israel. Hal ini diminta Tuhan agar Harun menguduskan dirinya terlebih dahulu sebelum ia mewakili keluarganya lalu kemudian mewakili orang Israel. Dan dengan cara berpikir yang sama kita perlu terapkan itu ke dalam kehidupan kita di hadapan Tuhan. Sebelum kita melayani umat Tuhan kita perlu untuk membereskan dahulu kehidupan kita di hadapan Tuhan, dan kehidupan kita dengan keluarga kita di hadapan Tuhan barulah kita melayani. Dengan demikian kita menjadi contoh bagi umat Tuhan yang kita layani, sebab memang manusia masih berdosa, tetapi kita memberikan contoh bahwa kita dapat tetap hidup kudus di hadapan Tuhan bila kita dengan segera bertobat dan dengan mengikuti Firman Tuhan. Jadi, biarlah kita ingat akan hal ini setiap kali kita mau melayani Tuhan, yakni setiap harinya, sebab kita di utus untuk memberitakan keselamatan daripada Tuhan Yesus Krsitus kepada segala bangsa.

Bible Reading: Leviticus 16
The Lord commanded for Aaron to give offering for himself and his family first before for the whole Israel. This is asked from the Lord so that Aaron sanctifies himself first before he represent his family and then representing the whole Israel. And with the same mindset we ought to apply it to our lives before the Lord. Before we serve the Lord, we need to settle our lives first before the Lord, and our family then we can serve. That way, we become an example to those whom we serve, for men still do sin, but we can give example that we can still live a holy life before the Lord if we immediately repent and by following the commandment of God. So, let us remember this every time we want to serve the Lord, that is everyday, for we are sent to share the salvation of the Lord Jesus Christ to all nations.
