Sikap yang Tuhan suka adalah sikap yang rendah hati, yang mau merendahkan diri di hadapan Tuhan. Bila kita lihat dari apa yang tertulis di dalam sejarah Israel, maka kita dapat melihat bahwa mereka yang sombong, menganggap dirinya lebih hebat dari Tuhan atau yang menghujat Tuhan, pada akhirnya keluar dari perlindungan dan penjagaan Tuhan. Tetapi ketika mereka merendahkan hati dan diri di hadapan Tuhan, kemudian bertobat, maka Tuhan memperhatikan dan luluh hati-Nya melihat umat-Nya yang merendahkan hati dan diri. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita belajar untuk rendah hati di hadapan Tuhan dan di hadapan orang-orang. Biarlah kita belajar untuk merendahkan diri di hadapan Tuhan, sebab bila kita lihat kehidupan kita, maka sebenarnya kita jauh dari standar Tuhan, tetapi Tuhan masih tetap mau menjaga dan mengasihi kita oleh karena kasih-Nya yang besar. Jadi, biarlah kita selalu ingat akan kasih-Nya yang kita terima walaupun kita tidak layak, agar kita tidak sombong, tetapi memiliki kerendahan hati.

The kind of attitude that the Lord likes is humility, an humble attitude before the Lord. If we look at the history of Israel, then we can see that they who are prideful and haughty, who thinks of themselves better than God or those who blasphemed God, in the end they are outside of God's protection and care. But when they humbled themselves before the Lord, and repent, the Lord cares and His heart melts seeing His people humbles themselves before Him. Therefore, let us learn to humble ourselves before the Lord and before others as well. Let us learn humility before the Lord, for if we look at our lives, then we are actually far from God's standard, but the Lord still wants to take care of us, and loves us because of His great love. So, let us always remember of His love that we received even though we do not deserve it, so that we may not be prideful or haughty, but have humility.
