Yesus berkata, "Barangsiapa haus, baiklah ia datang kepada-Ku dan minum! Barangsiapa percaya kepada-Ku, seperti yang dikatakan oleh Kitab Suci: Dari dalam hatinya akan mengalir aliran-aliran air hidup." Dikatakan juga bahwa yang dimaksudkan oleh Yesus dengan perkataan ini adalah Roh Kudus yang dicurahkan kepada umat-Nya setelah Yesus dimuliakan, yakni setelah Yesus bangkit dan naik ke Surga. Sekarang kita tinggal di jaman setelah Yesus, yakni di jaman di mana Roh Kudus telah dicurahkan di tengah-tengah kita. Dan agar kehidupan kita tidak kering, kita perlu untuk percaya dan datang kepada Tuhan dan dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus. Kita perlu untuk bersekutu dengan Roh Kudus, untuk dipimpin oleh Roh Kudus, untuk berdoa, menyembah dalam Roh. Sebab Tuhan adalah Roh dan hanya Roh yang dapat mengerti. Jadi, biarlah kita datang kepada Tuhan setiap hari, setiap pagi, untuk meminta agar Roh Kudus-Nya memenuhi kita, agar mengalir aliran-aliran air hidup dalam hidup kita sehingga kita tidak lagi kering.

Jesus said, "Let anyone who is thirsty come to Me and drink! Whoever believes in Me, as Scripture has said, rivers of living water will flow from within them." It is also said that what Jesus meant by these words is the Holy Spirit who was poured out to His people after Jesus was glorified, that is, after Jesus was resurrected and ascended to Heaven. Now we live in the era after Jesus, meaning in the age where Holy Spirit has been poured out in our midst. And for our lives to not be dry, we need to believe and come to the Lord and be filled with the Holy Spirit. We need to have fellowship with the Holy Spirit, to be led by the Holy Spirit, to pray and worship in Spirit. For the Lord is Spirit and only Spirit can understand. So, let us come to the Lord every day, every morning, to ask for Holy Spirit to fill us, so that rivers of living water flows within us such that we are no longer dry.
