Di sini kita dapat lihat lagi bahwa Tuhan juga memberikan janji Abraham kepada Yakub, yang telah diberkati oleh Ishak. Dan Tuhan menemui Yakub seperti Tuhan menemui Abraham dan Ishak dan janji Tuhan tetap untuk selamanya bagi keturunan Abraham, Ishak dan Yakub. Bukan hanya Tuhan itu setia kepada kita, tetapi Tuhan juga menanti-nantikan akan janji kita kepada Tuhan. Setelah Tuhan menunjukkan diri-Nya kepada Yakub, Yakub berjanji bahwa bila ia dapat kembali dengan selamat ke rumah bapanya di tanah Kanaan, maka tempat di mana Tuhan menunjukkan diri-Nya akan menjadi rumah Tuhan dan sepersepuluh dari berkat yang Tuhan beri akan dikembalikan kepada Tuhan. Dan melalui janji Yakub inilah, sejarah Israel yang kita ketahui terjadi dan janji ini terpenuhi. Melalui Israel, Tuhan membiarkan mereka membangun rumah Tuhan dan sepersepuluh dari berkat Tuhan mereka kembalikan kepada Tuhan, yakni untuk para Lewi sebab mereka dikhususkan bagi Tuhan. Jadi, Tuhan juga memperhatikan kerinduan hati kita dan janji kita kepada Tuhan. Dan bila kita sungguh-sungguh dan bila itu berkenan di hadapan-Nya, tentunya itu akan terjadi pada waktu yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita setia kepada janji kita kepada Tuhan dan bila kita setia kepada-Nya Ia tentu akan menjadikannya juga.

Here we can see again that the Lord also gave the promise to Abraham, to Jacob who has been blessed by Isaac. And the Lord visited Jacob as He did to Abraham and Isaac and the promise of God stays forever for the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. Not only that the Lord is faithful to us, but the Lord also waited for our promise to Him. After the Lord visited Jacob, Jacob promised the Lord that if he is able to come back safely to his father's house in Canaan, then the place where the Lord visited him will be the house of the Lord and a tenth of what the Lord gave to him will be given back to the Lord. And through this promise of Jacob, the history of Israel that we know happened and this promise is fulfilled. Through Israel, the Lord allowed them to build he house of the Lord and a tenth of the blessings that God gave them, they give it back to the Lord, that is for the Levites for they are separated for the Lord. So, the Lord also take notice of our heart's desire and our promise to the Lord. And if we are earnest and if it is pleasing to the Lord, it will surely happen in the right time. Therefore, let us be faithful to our promise to the Lord and if we are faithful to Him, surely He will make it to pass.

Dan melalui janji Yakub inilah, sejarah Israel yang kita ketahui terjadi dan janji ini terpenuhi. Melalui Israel, Tuhan membiarkan mereka membangun rumah Tuhan dan sepersepuluh dari berkat Tuhan mereka kembalikan kepada Tuhan, yakni untuk para Lewi sebab mereka dikhususkan bagi Tuhan. Jadi, Tuhan juga memperhatikan kerinduan hati kita dan janji kita kepada Tuhan. Dan bila kita sungguh-sungguh dan bila itu berkenan di hadapan-Nya, tentunya itu akan terjadi pada waktu yang tepat. Oleh karena itu, biarlah kita setia kepada janji kita kepada Tuhan dan bila kita setia kepada-Nya Ia tentu akan menjadikannya juga.
