Pembacaan Alkitab: Wahyu 11
Pada penglihatan yang Tuhan bukakan kepada Yohanes, hanya Bait Suci Allah yang diukur dan pelatarannya tidak lagi terhitung. Bila kita ingat akan apa saja yang ada di dalam Bait Suci Allah dan di pelatarannya, maka kita akan melihat bagaimana ini berhubungan dengan kehidupan kita sebagai orang percaya. Ketika Tuhan memerintahkan Musa untuk membuat Kemah Suci, di dalam pelatarannya ada tempat pembasuhan dan tempat korban sembelihan, yang melambangkan pengorbanan Anak Domba, yakni Tuhan Yesus Kristus dan pembaptisan air. Ini melambangkan akan darah Yesus yang tercurah bagi kita yang kita terima ketika kita percaya dan mengaku dan juga melambangkan baptisan air yang kita lalui ketika kita percaya dan mengambil komitmen untuk mengikuti Tuhan Yesus Kristus. Di dalam Kemah Suci ada Ruang Kudus dan Ruang Maha Kudus. Di dalam Ruang Kudus ada meja roti sajian, ada kaki dian emas dan ada kemenyan dan ukupan. Hal-hal ini melambangkan Firman Tuhan dan Roh Kudus yang ada di dalam hidup kita setiap hari, serta puji-pujian dan penyembahan kita kepada Tuhan yang dinaikkan setiap harinya. Di dalam Ruang Maha Kudus ada Tabut Allah, yang melambangkan Allah sendiri. Dan kehidupan kita perlu untuk selalu berada di dalam Bait Suci, yakni di dalam Ruang Kudus dan Ruang Maha Kudus. Yang berarti bahwa tidak cukup bagi kita hanya untuk percaya, mengaku bahwa Yesus adalah Tuhan dan Juru Selamat kita dan di baptis, tetapi kehidupan kita perlu untuk dipenuhi oleh Firman Tuhan, Roh Kudus, puji-pujian dan penyembahan kepada Tuhan, serta persekutuan dengan Tuhan secara pribadi setiap harinya. Sebab setiap hari kita menghadapi dunia yang makin jahat dan serangan serta tipuan iblis, oleh sebab itu kita perlu hidup senantiasa di dalam persekutuan dengan Tuhan, dipenuhi dengan Firman dan Roh Kudus yang menguatkan iman dan menjadikannya nyata. Dan melalui puji-pujian dan penyembahan kita, kita selalu mengucap syukur dan memproklamasikan kebesaran, kemuliaan dan kebaikan Tuhan. Jadi, janganlah kita merasa puas hanya dengan ke gereja setiap hari Minggu, tetapi biarlah setiap hari kita seperti hari Minggu, di mana kita mencari Firman Tuhan, bersekutu dengan Tuhan dan Roh Kudus, memuji dan menyembah Tuhan. Tinggalah di dalam Bait Suci dan bukan lagi di pelatarannya saja, sebab pada akhirnya, hanya Bait Sucilah yang diukur oleh Tuhan.

Bible Reading: Revelation 11
In the vision that the Lord revealed to John, only the Temple of God is measured and its court is not. If we remember of what is in the Temple of God and its court, we will see the connection between our lives as believers and the Temple of God. When the Lord gave the commands, in the court there are basin for washing and a place to sacrifice burnt offering which represents the sacrifice of the Lamb of God and of water baptism. This represents the blood of Jesus Christ that is poured out for us and we received when we believed and confessed and also represents water baptism that we did when we believed and took the commitment to follow the Lord Jesus Christ. Then in the Temple of God there are the Holy Place and the Most Holy Place. In the Holy Place there are table for bread, lampstand, altar of incense. These represents the Word of God and Holy Spirit which are in our lives everyday, also praise and worship to the Lord which we lift up everyday. In the Most Holy Place there is the Ark of God which represents God Himself. And our lives need to always be in the Temple of God, that is in the Holy Place and Most Holy Place. Meaning that it is not enough for us just to believe, confess that the Jesus is our Lord and Saviour and be baptised, but our lives need to be filled with the Word of God, Holy Spirit, praise and worships to the Lord and personal fellowship with the Lord everyday. For every day we face the world which are getting more wicked and also the attacks and deceptions of the devil, therefore we need to always live in fellowship with the Lord, be filled with the Word of God and Holy Spirit which gives us faith and makes it happen. And through our praise and worship we always give thanks and proclaim the greatness, glory and goodness of God. So, do not be satisfied with just going to church every Sunday, but let our everyday be like every Sunday, where we seek the Word of God, have fellowship with the Lord and Holy Spirit, praise and worships the Lord. Live in the Temple of God and no longer just in its court, for in the end only the Temple of God is measured by the Lord.
