Pembacaan Alkitab: Yehezkiel 42-44
Tuhan mengingatkan kepada Israel akan kekudusan Bait Suci Allah di mana kemuliaan Tuhan turun dan tinggal di tengah-tengah orang Israel. Ia mengingatkan umat-Nya bahwa Ia kudus dan dikatakan bahwa bila umat-Nya malu dan bertobat akan semua perbuatan yang telah mereka buat setelah diperingatkan akan kekudusan dan kemuliaan Tuhan, maka Tuhan akan membimbing mereka dan memberikan cara-cara agar mereka tetap hidup kudus sebagai umat Tuhan. Begitu juga dengan kehidupan kita, kita tidak dapat berkata bahwa kita akan mencoba hidup kudus atau hidup lebih baik dulu baru kita datang kepada Tuhan. Bila demikian, kita sebenarnya berkata bahwa kita dapat berubah dengan kekuatan kita sendiri tanpa bantuan Tuhan. Tetapi, justru kita perlu kekuatan dan bimbingan Tuhan agar kita dapat hidup tidak mempermalukan kekudusan dan kemuliaan Tuhan. Kita perlu datang kepada Tuhan dengan apa adanya, disertai dengan hati yang hancur yang sadar akan kebobrokan kita dan hati yang bertobat dan Tuhan akan membimbing kita kepada kehidupan yang benar dan kudus. Jadi, biarlah kita datang kepada Tuhan dengan kelemahan kita yang justru juga ingatkan kita bahwa kita memerlukan rahmat dan anugrah Tuhan dan datanglah kepada Tuhan setiap hari dengan hati yang bertobat agar kemuliaan Tuhan datang dan tinggal di dalam hati kita.

Bible Reading: Ezekiel 42-44
The Lord reminded Israel of the holiness of the Temple of God where the glory of God came down and dwell in the midst of Israel. He reminded His people that He is holy and it is said that if His people are ashamed and repent from all their wickedness after being reminded of the holiness and glory of God, then the Lord will lead them and give them ways so that they may live a holy life as the people of God. So it is with our lives, we cannot say that we will try to live a holy life or better life and then we will come to the Lord. If so, we are actually saying that we can change with our own strength and without the Lord's. But in fact, we need the strength and guidance of the Lord so that we may live without bringing shame to the holiness and glory of God. We need to come to the Lord with all that we are, accompanied by a broken heart that realises our wickedness and weaknesses and a repented heart and the Lord will lead us to a life that is righteous and holy. So, let us come to the Lord with our weaknesses which reminds us that we need the mercy and grace of God and come to the Lord every day with a repented heart so that the glory of God may come and dwell in our hearts.
