Ketika Paulus tiba di Efesus, ia menemukan beberapa orang yang sudah percaya kepada Tuhan Yesus Kristus tetapi belum dibaptis oleh Roh Kudus. Mereka telah dibaptis oleh baptisan Yohanes, yakni baptisan air, tetapi mereka belum dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus. Lalu Paulus mendoakan dan menumpangkan tangan atas mereka dan mereka dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus dan mulai berkata-kata dalam bahasa roh. Dari awal permulaan hari Pentakosta, di mana murid-murid Yesus dipenuhi oleh Roh Kudus dan sampai kepada saat ini di mana Paulus berada di Efesus, setiap kali mereka membagikan Injil Keselamatan, mereka yang dibaptis oleh air, juga dibaptis oleh Roh Kudus. Dari sini kita dapat melihat pentingnya untuk kita dibaptis oleh Roh Kudus dan yang membaptis adalah Tuhan Yesus Kristus sendiri dan bukan manusia. Yang Paulus dan para murid lakukan hanyalah membantu mendoakan dengan tumpangan tangan, tetapi yang membaptis adalah Tuhan Yesus sendiri. Dan kita sudah lihat perbedaan dalam pelayanan para murid sebelum dan sesudah dibaptis oleh Roh Kudus. Sesudah dibaptis, mereka memiliki kuasa Roh Kudus yang menyertai mereka dengan dashyat. Oleh karena itu, bila kita belum dipenuhi atau dibaptis oleh Roh Kudus, dan kita rindu untuk dipenuihi oleh Roh Kudus, biarlah kita memintanya dari Tuhan (Lukas 11:13) dan bila perlu, kita dapat datang kepada pemimpin kita atau pastor kita untuk minta didoakan untuk menerima baptisan Roh Kudus. Bagi kita yang sudah menerima baptisan Roh Kudus, biarlah kita terus meminta agar Roh Kudus memenuhi kita setiap harinya dan memimpin kita dalam menjalani hidup di dunia ini agar sesuai dengan Firman dan Kebenaran Tuhan.

When Paul arrived at Ephesus, he found a few believers but they were not yet baptised with the Holy Spirit. They have been baptised with the baptism of John, which is water baptism, but they have not yet been filled with the Holy Spirit. Then Paul prayed for them and laid hands on them and they were filled with the Holy Spirit and starts to speak in tongue. From the beginning of the Pentecost, where the disciples were filled with the Holy Spirit, until now where Paul is in Ephesus, every time they share the Gospel of Salvation, they who are baptised with water, are also baptised with the Holy Spirit. From here we can see how important it is for us to be baptised with the Holy Spirit and the one who baptised us is the Lord Jesus Christ Himself and not men. What Paul and the disciples did was only to help them pray and laid hands, but the one who baptised is the Lord Jesus Himself. And we have seen the difference in the ministries of the disciples before and after being baptised with the Holy Spirit. After being baptised, they have the power of the Holy Spirit with them. Therefore, if we have not yet been filled or baptised with the Holy Spirit and if we long for it, let us asks from the Lord (Luke 11:13) and if needed, we can come to oru leaders or pastors to be prayed for to receive the baptism of the Holy Spirit. For us who have received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, let us kepe on asking the Holy Spirit to fill us every day and to lead us to live life in this earth so that it would be3 according to the Word of Truth of God.
