Tuhan Yesus berkata bahwa setelah Roh Kudus turun, kita akan menerima kuasa dan akan menjadi saksi-Nya. Di sini, kita dapat kenal dengan jelas peranan Roh Kudus selain daripada penghibur. Melalui Roh Kudus kita mendapatkan kuasa yang Tuhan Yesus janjikan kepada kita. Dan melalui Roh Kudus pula kita akan menjadi saksi.

Seorang saksi adalah seseorang yang ada pada suatu kejadian dan sama-sama melihat apa yang terjadi. Terkadang saksi itu juga mengalami dan bukan hanya melihat. Bila kita adalah saksi Kristus, berarti kita melihat kuasa Kristus di kehidupan kita dan juga mengalaminya. Dan dari apa yang Yesus katakan, melalui Roh Kudus dan kuasa-Nya, kita dapat melihat kuasa, pekerjaan dan janji Tuhan. Jadi, untuk kita dapat menjadi saksi Kristus, kita perlu kuasa Roh Kudus.

The Lord Jesus said that after the Holy Spirit comes, we will receive power and will be His witnesses. Here we can know clearly the role of the Holy Spirit other than as a comforter. Through the holy Spirit we receive the power that the Lord Jesus promised us. And through the Holy Spirit we become witnesses.

A witness is one who is there during an event and saw what happen. Sometimes a witness do not only see but also experience the event. If we are witnesses of Christ, it means we see the power of Christ in our lives and we also experience it. And from what Jesus said, through the Holy Spiritwe can see power, work of God and promise of God. So for us to be able to become Christ's witness, we need the power of the Holy Spirit.
