Pembacaan Alkitab: Mazmur 113-115
Tuhan telah melakukan begitu banyak mujizat di tengah-tengah Israel, dari ketika mereka di Mesir, di padang gurun bahkan sampai kepada mereka dapat menduduki tanah perjanjian. Dan banyak kejadian yang di mana bangsa-bangsa lain menantang Allah Israel dan terbukti bahwa memang Tuhan, Allah Israellah yang berkuasa dan bahwa dewa-dewa mereka hanyalah emas dan perak, mereka memiliki telinga, mulut, tangan dan sebagainya, tetapi tidak ada gunanya. Oleh karena itulah pemazmur ini dapat berkata dan menghimbau Israel untuk memuji dan percaya kepada Tuhan, sebab Tuhanlah tempat perlindungan kita dan perisai kita. Seperti pada waktu Elia menantang 400 nabi Baal, di sana terbukti dengan nyata bahwa Tuhanlah yang kuasa dan satu-satunya Allah. Jadi, janganlah kita ragu, janganlah kita tertipu oleh iblis dan menjadi ragu akan Tuhan kita. Tetapi biarlah kita tetap percaya kepada Tuhan dalam segala hal, melalui segala macam perkara. Tetaplah setia dan bersandar kepada Tuhan, dan kita akan menyaksikan kuasa-Nya di dalam hidup kita. Sehingga kitapun dapat berkata Tuhanlah keselamatan kita, Tuhanlah perisai dan perlindungan kita, pujilah Tuhan.

Bible Reading: Psalms 113-115
The Lord has done so many miracles in the midst of Israel, from when they were in Egypt, in the desert and even until they occupied the promised land. And there are many incidents where other nations challenged the God of Israel and it was proven that the Lord, God of Israel is poweful and that their gods were only gold and silver, they have ears, mouths, hands and so on, but has no use. That is why the psalmist can say and encourage Israel to praise and believe in the Lord, because the Lord is our shelter and shield. Just like when Elijah challenged 400 of prophets of Baal and there it was proven that the Lord is powerful and the only God. So, do not doubt and do not be deceived by the devil such that we doubt the Lord our God. But let us keep on believing in the Lord in all things, through thick and thin. Keep on being faithful and rely on the Lord and we will witness His power in our lives. So that we can say, the Lord is our salvation, the Lord is our shield and shelter, praise be to the Lord.

Sehingga kitapun dapat berkata Tuhanlah keselamatan kita, Tuhanlah perisai dan perlindungan kita, pujilah Tuhan.
